The course leads runners from the famous Sultan Ahmed Mosque in the European side of the city, through the old city and along the shores of the Bosphorus, not crossing the Bosphorus Bridge. 6. Things To Know Before Signing Up.

As this is one of the world’s biggest road races, the race fills up quickly. If you’re thinking of Istanbul Marathon 2023 registration, the earlier, the better. The race is open to all levels of runners. There are various options for distances, such as 42K, 15K, Kids Marathon and Charity Run, and individuals can run solo or join a team. Join “10’S Club” if you have completed the Istanbul Marathon at least 10 times! You can also be a skater to join the 45th Marathon. If you are one of them the race kit distribution will take place on November 2-3-4th at Dr. Mimar Kadir Topbaş Gösteri ve Sanat Merkezi.
