Some dishes demonstrate that Turkish and Chinese cuisine are similar in many ways. Our article details the best Chinese restaurants in Istanbul, allowing you time to visit palaces, museums and historical streets instead of searching for Chinese Restaurants:
1. Shang Palace
An ideal restaurant to taste authentic Cantonese-Chinese cuisine with Turkish and international wines. The Hong Kong-based multinational restaurant is part of a “hospitality company”. Shang Palace, with branches in many parts of the world, prepares the most delicious dishes for its guests, and the same applies here in Turkey. Wines are specially selected for you by trained consultants.

2. Dragon Restaurant
This restaurant, in the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, opens at around 18:30. Later in the evening, it can get quite crowded. Masters of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes, the Dragon Restaurant chefs are from Hong Kong and their Peking duck is just one of the delicious dishes on offer.
3. Chinese & Sushi Express
Although quite far from the centre of Istanbul, if you’re staying on the Pendik side, this restaurant is worth stopping at. Japanese food, especially sushi, is addictive. Takeaway service is also available so if you don’t want to go to the restaurant, you can order it to be delivered to wherever you’re staying.
4. Great Dong Fang
Dong Fang, with its popular banquet service, is located in Cevahir Shopping Centre in Şişli. Salads and all kinds of delicious Chinese dishes are available. It’s located in the food court of the shopping centre, so you can go with your friends, and if some of them don’t want to eat Chinese food, they have other options.
5. Little China Bebek
In Little China, one of Bebek’s most beautiful venues, chefs are replaced every year with new chefs from their restaurant in Beijing so the dishes can be prepared according to Chinese taste. Bebek’s lively atmosphere is reflected in this restaurant. Little China’s dishes include chicken with sweet n sour sauce and steamed ginger salmon.
