2. Filbooks – Karaköy, Beyoğlu

Our second choice is minimalist and a bit quieter. The pastel interior makes this a calm and happy space to revive yourself. Filbooks in Karaköy is especially famous for its coffee varieties. If you’re a real coffee addict, you’ll love tasting the different coffees that are crafted here using high-quality coffee beans.

It also has a large library where you can choose from hundreds of books to read while sipping your coffee. And it’s been specially designed as a place for you to take great pictures. Filbooks is famous for its swing where you sway your cares away, and there’s also a workshop area which is used by groups producing alternative art. Anyone can hold a workshop meeting in Istanbul here but you must make a reservation in advance.

3. Sunset Grill & Bar – Kuruçeşme, Beşiktaş

Sunset Grill & Bar has been represented as one the luxury places of the beautiful İstanbul. From the very day it was established, it gathered numerous local and international awards. There are lots of things to say about the restaurant but the view… What a beauty… It is definitely something to share on instagram!  

While it is guaranteed to be magnified by the view that is the source of most İstanbul photos, Sunset has a well-designed interior that will put a spell on you. The venue is capable of welcoming approximately 400 people in summer and 220 people in winter. The employer will help you to get service even if you do not make a reservation. 5. The House Cafe – Ortaköy, Beşiktaş

If you’re looking for a long-established place in Istanbul then you’ll love this very impressive café. Situated by the sea it offers a beautiful Bosphorus view which is not just picturesque; it’s Instaresque. The café has a classy, modern interior and every meal and beverage on offer is carefully prepared by experienced chefs. And the service is second to none.

There are regular live music and DJ performances during which the venue can get quite crowded. Due to its popularity, it’s worth making a reservation whether you intend to visit by night or day.

Parking is available at a dedicated car park right next door to the cafe with valet parking on offer if you want it.

6. Atölye Kafası Hangar – Balat, Fatih

Do you enjoy spending time in a warm, friendly and cosy environment? Here you can drink hot tea while talking about art and literature. There are many places in Istanbul designed for workshops and the Hangar of the Workshop Head is one of the most popular.

So, what do you need to know about the place? First of all, it’s a workshop; most famously a wood workshop. The products made here are available to buy so after enjoying your coffee you can buy a souvenir made on the premises. Some of the products available are tables, chairs, stools, benches, baskets, safes, decorative products, natural products and presentation products.

It also has a busy concert schedule. If you check the website before you travel, you can choose to go when there’s an artist’s concert on.

7.Ali Ocakbaşı – Karaköy, Beyoğlu

Classic! That’s the word to describe Ail Ocakbaşı plainly. Although the Ali Ocakbaşı has three branches in İstanbul, the one at Karaköy has the most photographable view. The modern grill concept meets with the atmosphere of the historic peninsula.
