Where Can You Travel?

1. Yanartaş
Yanartaş, also known as Kimera, is 230 meters above Çıralı and Olympos. It has a natural source of fire known as eternal fire. It is a must see for anyone camping in Çıralı or Olympos. According to Homer’s texts, Chimera consists of a lion, goat, and snake. The lion’s head and the goat’s head are on the front, and the snakehead is on the back as the tail.
The story: This three-headed monster comes out of the fire with each breath. The Lycian King of the period sends the young Bellerophontes, who was exiled from his own lands and was not accepted by other kingdoms, to kill the monster. Actually, he gives him this task because he thinks that he cannot kill that monster, that he will be prey to the monster. Bellerophontes sets out with his winged horse, Pegasos. When he comes to Chimera, he begins to fight him. Pegasos takes off when Kimera moves to attack. While descending, Bellerophontes thrusts his spear into Chimera and buries the monster seven floors below the ground. Here Chimera still continues to fire seven floors below the ground.

2. Gelidonya Lighthouse

3. Suluada
