Café de Flore – Parisian Breakfast

You can start your day with delight by sitting in Café de Flore, one of Paris’s most gorgeous cafes. You can enjoy watching the passers-by and experiencing Parisian life.
Café de Flore is one of Paris’ oldest cafes and is well-known for its high-profile patrons, who have included writers and philosophers from the past.
Golden Checklist
- Taste: Coffee and a croissant!
- Photo Point: Sitting at one of the tables outside and photographing it.
- Do: When visiting cafés and restaurants in France, wait for the waiter to show you a table. When you get to the venue, you will realize exactly what I mean when you see the clients queuing at the door.
- Do not take a seat at any table without first consulting with the waiter.:) If you wish to drink water, simply ask for “tap water”; tap water is widely consumed in France and tastes excellent. If you want tap water, they will provide it to you for free.
Église de Saint Germain des Prés – A Church Visit

A visit to an old historical church in the heart of Paris is worthwhile, with its eye-catching stained-glass windows and magnificent Gothic columns.
Not only is there a church, but there is also a cemetery and a royal necropolis. Several members of the French dynasty are buried here.
Golden Checklist
- See the beautiful stained glass windows and lofty Gothic columns.
- How about locating the most beautiful spot in the church?
- Do: Great concerts are held here on occasion. It’s worthwhile to visit their website.
- Do not attempt to enter through the exit.:)
Luxembourg Gardens & Médicis Fountain – Paris’ Most Beautiful Garden
Bu gönderiyi Instagram’da gör
This location provides a very serene and peaceful atmosphere. Take a seat on one of the nearby seats and relax while listening to the sound of the water. The sound of running water and the soft shade of trees are ideal for relaxing or reading a book!
The Medici Fountain is a massive fountain in Paris’ 6th arrondissement’s Luxembourg Garden. Marie de’ Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France and regent of King Louis XIII of France, built it in approximately 1630. In 1864-66, it was relocated to its current position and considerably reconstructed.
Golden Checklist
- See also Médicis Fountain.
- Photo Point: Take photos of toddlers running after the sailboats in the pool.
- Do: Keep an eye out for folks playing the popular French petanque game 🙂 During the summer, there are concerts here. Remember to double-check these on their website.
- Read: Isn’t it a wonderful setting to read your book? Reading in the park is a popular pastime in this town.
- Listen: In the pleasant shade of the trees, listen to the murmur of the river.
- Do not ride a bike or scooter.
Café Pavane – Fresh Homemade Products & Tasty Hot Chocolate

A lovely tiny eatery where I had one of the nicest cheesecakes of my life!
A peaceful, tranquil, and adorable coffeehouse that transports you. The proprietors are quite friendly and have fantastic music.
Golden Checklist
- Order: Try some Hot Chocolate. Also, cheesecake is my favorite!
- Do: In France, you must wait for the waiter to show you a seat in a cafe or restaurant. When you get to the venue, you will realize exactly what I mean when you see the clients queuing at the door.
- Listen: Follow the playlist’s lead.
- Don’t take a seat unless they direct you to one.:) If you wish to drink water, simply ask for “tap water”; tap water is widely consumed in France and tastes excellent. If you want tap water, they will provide it to you for free.
Pantheon – Graves of Famous People & Foucault’s Pendulum

Mirabeau, Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Pierre and Marie Curie, Emile Zola, Jean Jaurès, Léon Gambetta, Jean Monnet, André Malraux, and Alexandre Dumas are among the intellectuals buried in Panthéon.
Although it was built as a church dedicated to Geneviève, Paris’ patroness, it lost its purpose as a church following the French Revolution and became a gigantic graveyard for famous French intellectuals.
Golden Checklist
- See: Don’t forget to visit the tombs of people who left their imprint on both French and world history.
- Photo Point: The Foucault pendulum is an intriguing concept. Don’t forget to conduct a test, take a photo, or record a video to demonstrate that the globe is spinning!
- Do: I recommend that you look at the panoramic photograph.
- Don’t forget to purchase your tickets in advance online. 🙂
Bouillon Racine – French Cuisine in a Stylish Place
Bu gönderiyi Instagram’da gör
The interior design is stylish, and the space is large. You might prefer the second floor to the first. Lunch menu prices are significantly lower.
I normally bring my own visitors to Paris here. Because you may have a lot better-quality dinner and enjoy the gorgeous setting at a much lower price compared to other restaurants.
Golden Checklist
- Photo Point: Take a photograph of the upper floor.
- Order from the lunch menu.
- Do: In French cafes and restaurants, the waiter or waitress will show you to a seat. If you go to the venue and look at the line of people waiting to get in, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
- Don’t go unless you have a reservation. Tap water is wonderful and widely consumed in France, so if you’re thirsty just ask for “tap water.” They will gladly provide you complimentary tap water.
The Abbey Bookshop – Smell of books
Bu gönderiyi Instagram’da gör
Walking to a book that has fallen off the shelf gives one the feeling that they have unearthed an old buried gem, thus spending the evenings here is no problem. The library is filled with beautiful books stacked randomly.
You can detour this lovely Canadian-British bookstore if you’re in the area.
Golden Checklist
- See: Observe the haphazard book stacks, low lighting, and jazz music. Take in the sights and sounds of the area.
- Photo Point: In the library stacks!
- Do: As a matter of fact, you should definitely strike up a conversation with the vendor.
- Do not let yourself get distracted and forget the passage of time.
Shakespeare And Company – Famous & Beautiful Bookstore
Bu gönderiyi Instagram’da gör
One of my favorite Parisian places. It’s especially enjoyable to spend time upstairs.
Although it was previously unknown, it is now well known. Don’t give up and wait in line if one exists. The wait will be worthwhile.
A wonderful ambiance, kitties, books, the environment, and spirit… It transports you to another time era, so to speak. Enjoy yourself in a time period in the past from the moment you step in through the entrance.
Golden Checklist
- See: Poets’ and writers’ beds above.
- Photo Point: Sleeping cats:)
- Do: Take a book you like, find a comfy seat, and read. Don’t forget to have your books stamped at the checkout.
- Read: Stairs and ceiling writings:)
- Do not pass the persons in front of you; instead, wait patiently. 🙂
Bonus: Notre Dame Cathedral
Are you interested in taking a look at the exterior of the most well-known building in all of Paris?
Paris, France is home to the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral. It honors the Virgin Mary with its name. To the east of the Île de la Cité, on the banks of the Seine, stands this Gothic masterpiece. The cathedral’s history and the subsequent fire are chronicled on the building’s left side.
Due to a fire a few years ago, the cathedral is currently not open to the public. The outside, though, is stunning in its own right. Learn more about the cathedral by reading the panels on the left side, then snap some shots from the bridge. Don’t get in people’s shots!
Île Saint-Louis – Exploring the Island

Visit Berthillon for ice cream, or head to Pont Saint Louis for some live music. Get out and see the island!
You can relax by the river for a while, or you can check out the restaurant where you’ll be eating dinner.
A peaceful enclave in the middle of Paris, not far from the bustling Île de la Cité.
Golden Checklist
- Taste: Try some of Berthillon’s ice cream.
- Photo Point: Pictures from the sidewalks and streets.
- Do: You should definitely commit the river scenery to memory.
- Don’t: Avoid getting in front of any cameras that could be filming the street performers.
Bonus: Berthillon – A short ice cream break!
Don’t continue along the path until you’ve stopped in Berthillon for some ice cream!
Le Relais de L’Entrecôte – A Delicious Entrecôte
Bu gönderiyi Instagram’da gör
There is no menu here. You tell us how you want your meat cooked, and that’s all! They fill the dish for the first time when the salad is served, and then for the second time. So don’t worry about me leaving on an empty stomach:)
This restaurant’s rib steaks, one of several branches, should be tried at least once, in my opinion. The rib steak sauce and the potatoes are excellent accompaniments. Around 18:45, the restaurant opens. If you leave at 18:20, you will be among the first to arrive and will not have to wait long.
They do not accept reservations.
In cafés and restaurants in France, you must wait for the waiter to show you a table. When you get to the venue, you will realize exactly what I mean when you see the clients queuing at the door.
Golden Checklist
- Order: Entrecôte
- Photo Point: Take a picture as a souvenir:)
- They do not accept reservations. The venue opens at 18:45, but if you arrive before 18:20, you will be among the first to arrive and will not have to wait.
- Don’t: If you can have your meat rare, don’t get it well-done. If you wish to drink water, simply ask for “tap water”; tap water is widely consumed in France and tastes excellent. If you want tap water, they will provide it to you for free.
This was the last part of Ezgi’s trip plan. She wanted to include generally the local activities to do in Paris. But we wanted to add more Paris attractions information that you can visit on the second day! Also, check out these tours that you can use for your second day in the City of Love!
Eiffel Tower Paris

The Paris Tower – Eiffel Tower Paris is undoubtedly Paris’ most recognizable sight, and it’s easy to see why. The tower, which stands over 300 meters tall, is a technical wonder and tribute to the inventiveness of its designer, Gustave Eiffel.
Visitors can take the elevator or the stairs to the top of the tower, where they will be rewarded with spectacular views of the city. The experience is likely to be remarkable whether you visit at sunset or at night, when the tower is lighted with hundreds of dazzling lights of the Eiffel tower in Paris France.

The Louvre Museum Paris houses one of the most spectacular art collections in the world, including works by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt.
